|Toasties/Grape-nuts flakes||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Post Brand)|
|Coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Bakers)|
|Chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Beat egg whites with salt until foamy throughout; add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating after each addition until sugar is blended.
Fold in cereal, coconut, and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto heavy paper on baking sheet.
Bake in slow oven (325Â°F.) for 20 minutes, or until delicately browned.
Remove from paper at once.
Makes about 3 dozen Cocoroons.
