Candied Walnut Halves
|Walnut halves||100 Gram (1/2 Cup)|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Pinch|
1. In boiling water blanch the walnuts, drain and toss along with the sugar and cayenne pepper.
2. In a frypan let the oil heat and fry the walnuts for 4-5 minutes over high heat until they are glistening.
3. Donot let to darken them or else they will be bitter.
4. Let them cool and keep in airtight jar.
