Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Double acting baking powder 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped toasted walnuts 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vegetable shortening 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Light brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg 1 Large, beaten
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

In a bowl stir together the flour, the baking powder, the salt, and 1/2 cup of the walnuts.
