James River Waffles

Ingredients
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Eggs 3
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sour milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Fat 6 Tablespoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Separate the eggs and beat the egg yolks until light.
Then add 1 cup of sour milk.
Sift together the dry ingredients, add to the yolk mixture and beat.
Add the other cup of sour milk and beat again, then add the fat, melted, and last fold in the egg-whites, beaten stiff.
Bake in a hot waffle iron.
