Old Fashioned Waffles
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , separated|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Beat flour and milk; add margarine; beat.
Add well beaten egg yolks; beat again.
Add baking powder and pinch of salt; beat very hard for few minutes.
Fold in well beaten egg whites.
Have waffle iron very hot.
Pile small amount of batter in center of waffle iron.
It will spread when cover comes down.
Don't use much batter as it will ooze out the sides of the waffle iron.
