Ingredients
  Sifted flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , separated
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shortening 4 Tablespoon, melted
Directions

Sift dry ingredients.
Combine egg yolks with milk and shortening.
Add dry ingredients and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Makes 4 or 5 waffles.
