Sunflower Rolled Waffles
|Rolled oats||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Wheat||1 Cup (16 tbs), rolled|
|Hot water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk powder||6 Tablespoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Sunflower seeds||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
Put the oats and wheat into a small mixing bowl. Pour the hot water over them and stir. Let them sit and soften for a few minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients in the order given, stirring carefully after each addition.
To bake, spread about 1/2 cup of batter over a hot, oiled waffle iron. Use a wooden spoon to spread the batter almost to the edge (as this batter doesn't spread like thin waffle batters).
Bake until very brown and crisp. Serve with yogurt, applesauce, and cinnamon, or syrup and butter.
