Cornmeal Waffles

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Yellow cornmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Egg 3 , separated
  Eggs 3 (separated)
  Buttermilk 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
Directions

Sift flour, measure and resift 3 times with cornmeal, baking powder, soda and salt.
Proceed as for Basic Waffles.
