Orange Dessert Waffles

Ingredients
  Sifted cake flour 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 Small, well beaten
  Light cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Grated orange rind 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted and cooled slightly
  Egg whites 2 , stiffly beaten
Directions

Sift together dry ingredients.
Combine eggs, cream, orange rind; stir into dry ingredients.
Stir in butter; fold in egg whites.
Bake.
Serve with Whipped Orange Butter.
Makes 3 10-inch waffles.
