Crispy Golden Waffles

Ingredients
  Self raising flour 4 Ounce
  Sugar 3⁄4 Tablespoon (1 dessertspoon)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Light cream 1⁄2 Pint
  Melted butter 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Sift flour, sugar and salt.
Separate eggs, beat egg-yolks until thick.
Add cream and mix lightly.
Stir in sifted dry ingredients all at once, and stir only until smooth.
Stir in melted butter.
Beat egg-whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
Cook in hot, greased waffle iron until golden brown.
