Orange Coconut Waffles
|All purpose flour||2 3⁄4 Cup (44 tbs) (sifted)|
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||13 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Milk||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Salad oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Coconut||2 Tablespoon (flaked)|
|Orange peel||1 Tablespoon, shredded|
Sift together dry ingredients.
Combine eggs, milk, and salad oil.
Just before baking, add milk mixture to dry ingredients, beating just till moistened (batter will be thin).
Combine flaked coconut and orange peel.
Pour batter onto preheated waffle baker; quickly top each waffle with some coconut-peel mixture; bake.
