Maple Waffles

Ingredients
  Sifted all purpose flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg yolks 2 , beaten
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Maple flavored syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Maple flavor 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Stiffly beaten egg whites 2
Directions

Sift together dry ingredients.
Combine next 5 ingredients; stir into dry mixture.
Fold in egg whites; do not over mix.
Bake.
Serve with butter and confectioners' sugar sprinkled over.
