  Buttermilk/Sour milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Sifted all purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soft shortening 6 Tablespoon
Directions

Add all the ingredients and beat until batter is smooth.
Bake in hot waffle iron.
