|Milk||415 Milliliter (1 2/3 cups)|
|Butter/Vegetable oil||65 Milliliter, melted (1/4 cup)|
|Nuts||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), chopped|
Sift together the flout, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
Beat the egg yolks until pale yellow, then add to the milk and beat well.
Pour the egg yolk and milk mixture onto the flour and blend thoroughly.
Stir in the melted butter or vegetable oil.
Allow to stand for at least an hour.
Beat the egg whites Until stiff and fold into the batter with the chopped nuts.
Fill a hot, lightly oiled waffle iron until two-thirds full with the batter.
Cook until the steam stops escaping from the sides.
