Serviceberry Waffles

Ingredients
  Buttermilk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Whole wheat flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cattail pollen/White flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Dried serviceberries 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

Soak serviceberries 1 to 1 1/2 hours in 2 cups of warm water.
Drain well.
Beat together milk, eggs and oil.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Slowly beat into milk mixture.
Fold in berries and bake in greased waffle iron until done.
