|Buttermilk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cattail pollen/White flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Dried serviceberries||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Soak serviceberries 1 to 1 1/2 hours in 2 cups of warm water.
Beat together milk, eggs and oil.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Slowly beat into milk mixture.
Fold in berries and bake in greased waffle iron until done.
