Sour Cream Breakfast Waffles

Waffles aren't that difficult to make from scratch, and the batter can be made a day or two ahead and stored in a sealed container in the fridge. The sour cream or yogurt used here adds a nice tang rounding out the flavor.
Ingredients
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Melted butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sour cream/Plain yogurt 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat waffle iron.

MAKING
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar. Mix well.
3. Add butter, sour cream, egg, and milk. Mix to combine well.
4. Pour batter in waffle iron and cook for 3 ½ minutes or as per waffle iron manual until crispy and golden brown.

SERVING
5. Serve waffle with maple syrup, peach preserve or strawberry jam.
