Curled Honey And Cinnamon Wafers
|Cake flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), shredded|
|Shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Sift flour and spice, add nuts.
Cream shortening, add sugar and beat well.
Add honey and eggs and continue beating.
Fold in flour mixture.
Drop from 1/4 teaspoon onto a heavily greased inverted cookie sheet.
Spread out thin into a 2 inch square.
Allow at least 1 inch between cookies.
Bake in slow oven (300Â°F.) about 10 minutes.
Cool just 1 minute, remove from pan and curl into cone shape.
Serve plain or fill with fillings.
