Walnut Wafers

Ingredients
  Cookie dough 1 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Roll, Butterscotch-Nut Icebox Cookie Dough)
  Granulated sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Broken walnuts/Halved walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cut icebox cookie dough into 1/2 inch thick slices; halve each; shape into balls; roll in sugar; place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheets; press walnut half in center of each.
Bake in moderate oven (375°F) 7 to 8 minutes; cool cookies 1 minute, then remove and cool on wire racks.
