|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Semi-sweet chocolate morsels||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sifted flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Combine butter and 2/3 cup chocolate morsels in top of double boiler.
Melt over hot water.
Remove from heat and stir until well blended.
Stir in sugar.
Add the egg and beat well.
Stir in flour, salt and vanilla.
Spread in a well-greased pan, 15 by 10 by 1 inch.
Sprinkle nuts and remaining chocolate over top.
Bake in a hot oven (400° F) 12 minutes.
Cut into squares immediately.
