Crispy Wafers

Making the perfect Crisp Wafers has never been this easy. Give this relatively quick and simple recipe a try and delight in your own homemade Crisp Wafers!
Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Semi-sweet chocolate morsels 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Sifted flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped nuts 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

Combine butter and 2/3 cup chocolate morsels in top of double boiler.
Melt over hot water.
Remove from heat and stir until well blended.
Stir in sugar.
Add the egg and beat well.
Stir in flour, salt and vanilla.
Spread in a well-greased pan, 15 by 10 by 1 inch.
Sprinkle nuts and remaining chocolate over top.
Bake in a hot oven (400° F) 12 minutes.
Cut into squares immediately.
