Peppermint Wafer Dessert

Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cold water 2 Tablespoon
  Peppermint sticks 8 Ounce (1 Package, Soft Type)
  Whipping cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whipping cream 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), whipped
  Chocolate wafers 8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Soften gelatin and keep aside.

MAKING
2) In a double boiler add candy and half cream.
3) Cook until the candy melts.
4) Stir in gelatin until dissolved.
5) Chill and beat in the remaining cream.
6) Take a pan and line the bottom with wafers.
7) Spoon half the amount of peppermint mixture into the pan.
8) Cover with a layer of wafer and spoon the remaining mixture on top.

FINALIZING
9) Chill for 8 hours.

SERVING
10) Serve chilled.
