|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened (At Room Temperature)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Lemon||1 , rind grated|
|Unsifted flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Cream butter until light and fluffy, then beat in sugar.
Mix in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in lemon juice and rind; mix in flour, mace, and salt.
Drop from a teaspoon onto lightly greased baking sheets, spacing cookies 2" apart.
Bake about 15 minutes until cookies are lightly ringed with brown.
While still warm, transfer to wire racks to cool.
