|Cornstarch||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Vanilla bean||6 Inch, split lengthwise|
|All purpose flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 350°.
Coat 2 large baking sheets with cooking spray, and dust with 1 tablespoon flour; set aside.
Combine sugar and next 3 ingredients in a bowl; stir with a wire whisk.
Scrape seeds from vanilla bean.
Add seeds to sugar mixture; reserve bean for another use.
Add 3/4 cup flour, baking powder, and salt; stir until smooth.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto baking sheets.
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Remove cookies from baking sheets; let cool on wire racks.
