Confused about what to do with the venison meat you got from your last hunting trip? It is not the same as a rib roast, or pork loin, but you can still make something of this tough and fibrous deer roast, with an extra amount of effort and attention to detail. In part 1 of the video, you learn to smoke a large venison roast on the Weber using the smokenator, to make something good with what can otherwise be a disaster! Once you have got that, you can use the grilled meat to make the best venison Jerky you have ever tried!
