Baked Vegetable

Baked vegetable is a dish made by baking either a single vegetable or a mix of vegetables. Baked vegetable is a very popular dish among vegetarians all over the world. Mushroom, capsicum, carrot, beans, potato, cauliflower, peas, broccoli, zucchini, spinach and tomato are some of the commonly used vegetables for baking. Vegetables cut in smaller pieces would take less cooking time. It is also necessary to peel the skin of vegetables if it is hard as it allows vegetables to cook in less time. Proper seasoning with salt, pepper and herbs would make the dish more delicious. Butter and olive oil should also be added to the dish and it should be made sure that all vegetables are coated well with oil. Topping can be done either with grated cheese or white sauce. While baking, the juices and flavor of all seasonal vegetables gets mixed with each other and the resulting baked vegetable makes a perfect side dish
