Julienne Vegetables

Julienne Vegetables is a simply delicious mouth-watering side dish recipe. Try this amazingly tempting Julienne Vegetables; I am sure you will get a lot of compliments for this one.
Ingredients
  Carrot 1
  Zucchini 1
  Celery stalk 1
  Blanched green onions/Chives 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 25 Milliliter (2 tablespoon)
Directions

Peel carrot.
Wash zucchini and celery.
With sharp knife, cut vegetables lengthwise into very thin strips. (Do not use centre of zucchini or core of carrot.)
Cut strips into 2-1/2 inch (7 cm) lengths; cut into narrow matchstick pieces.
To make packages to garnish dinner plates, tie vegetable sticks into small bundles using green onions as "strings" and poach in simmering water for 1 to 2 minutes or until tender crisp.
Drain on paper towels.
To saute julienne strips to use in soups, melt butter in small skillet; cook vegetable sticks for 1 to 2 minutes or until al dente (tender but firm).
Drain on paper towels.
