Ingredients
  Ripe rose hip berries 1 , quartered
  Onions 2 Medium, sliced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Celery seed 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Whole allspice 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Mace 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cloves 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon stick 1
  Vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Boil berries, onions, garlic, and water until soft.
Strain.
Add brown sugar to strained mixture.
Tie spices in a cheesecloth bag and add.
Bring to boiling; add vinegar and boil 10 minutes.
Ladle mixture into sterilized jars, seal, and store in a cool place.
