Lima Beans, Catalan Style
|Garlic flavored sausage||1 Pound, cut in 2 inch pieces|
|Chopped green onions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Condensed cream of celery soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Bay leaf||1 Small|
|Cayenne||1 1⁄2 Dash|
|Frozen baby lima beans||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Chopped tomatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cook green onions with garlic in butter in a large saucepan until tender.
Blend in soup, water, bay leaf, cayenne and lima beans; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and cook over low heat 15 minutes.
Add tomatoes; cook 5 minutes longer, or until done, stirring occasionally.
Remove bay leaf; garnish with lemon slices.
