Layered Sausage And Potato Bake
|Sweet italian sausage||12 Ounce, casings removed|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Thinly sliced peeled potatoes||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Chopped green bell pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned tomato sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mozzarella cheese||4 Ounce, shredded|
Cut the sausage into bite-size pieces.
Spread the vegetable oil in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Layer the sausage, potatoes, green pepper and onion in the baking dish.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.
Combine the eggs, milk, baking powder and parmesan cheese in a medium bowl and beat until smooth.
Add a little salt and pepper.
Pour egg mixture evenly over the contents of the baking dish.
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
Drizzle with tomato sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes longer.
