Turkey-Vegetable Sloppy Joes
|Ground turkey||1 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Chopped green bell pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced tomatoes||14 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Tomato paste||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Yellow mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground cumin||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Kaiser rolls/Hamburger buns||8 Ounce, split (4 Rolls Of 2 Ounce)|
|Reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese||4 Ounce, shredded (1 Cup)|
Cook turkey, onion, and garlic in a nonstick skil let over medium-high heat until turkey is browned, stirring to crumble.
