Deep South Ham And Sweet Potatoes
|Butter/Margarine||4 Tablespoon (0.5 Stick Butter)|
|Honey||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Pumpkin spice||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned ham||1 Pound|
|Canned sweet potatoes||1 Pound (1 Can)|
Melt butter or margarine in a shallow baking pan while oven heats; remove and stir in honey, pumpkin pie spice, and orange juice.
Place ham and sweet potatoes in pan; stud potatoes with whole cloves, if you wish; brush all with honey mixture
Bake in moderate oven (375Â°), brushing several times with syrup in pan, 25 minutes, or until heated through and glazed.
Slice ham; arrange with sweet potatoes on serving plates.
Garnish ham with spiced apple rings (from a jar) and parsley, and serve with prepared mustard, if you wish.
