Ginger Snaps + Yams
|Canned yams||30 Ounce|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
Drain syrup off yams and save.
Place yams in casserole dish and dot butter over them.
Add lemon juice and brown sugar.
Roll ginger snaps with rolling pin to small crumbs and then add to syrup you saved from the yams.
Add baking powder and salt.
Stir well and pour over yams.
Cover and bake approximately 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
