Steamed Vegetable Medley
|Sliced carrots||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 , cut into strips|
|Sliced yellow squash||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped chives||1 Dash (To Garnish)|
Place sliced carrots, green pepper strips, and sliced squash in steaming rack.
Place rack over boiling water, cover and steam 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Transfer vegetables to serving dish.
Add butter, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and toss gently.
Sprinkle with chives.
