Sweet & Soy Leeks

Ingredients
  Leeks 750 Gram
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Plum jam 2 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1 Trim the leeks, then cut them in half lengthwise. Wash thoroughly, halve lengthwise again, then cut into 5 cm (2 inch) lengths. Place in a saucepan with the water and cook, covered, for about 5 minutes, until slightly softened but still crunchy. Drain if necessary.
2 In the same saucepan, heat together the jam and soy sauce, stirring all the time until the jam has dissolved. Add the leeks and heat through for about 2 minutes. Serve hot
