To cold or hot well-seasoned mashed potatoes add sufficient beaten egg to make of a consistency to form round flat cakes about 1/2 to 3/4 in. in thickness.
Roll cakes in flour and saute a golden brown.
A little grated onion or onion juice mixed with potatoes add much to the flavor.
Serve hot with sauce.
