Maple Mustard Drumsticks
|Maple syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chili sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cider vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Prepared white horseradish||2 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Chicken drumstick||3 Pound|
1. Prepare a medium-hot fire in a barbecue grill. Meanwhile, in a small non- reactive saucepan, combine maple syrup, chili sauce, vinegar, horseradish, and mustard. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring to dissolve mustard, until sauce is hot, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
2. Grill chicken, turning once, 15 minutes. Brush with some of sauce and continue to grill, turning and brushing occasionally with sauce, until chicken juices run clear when pricked with a knife tip, 20 to 25 minutes longer. Stop basting about 5 minutes before chicken is done.
