Baked Summer Squash

Ingredients
  Yellow crookneck squash 4
  Onion 1 Small, finely chopped
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Saltine cracker crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Soft bread crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Slice squash, and boil in salted water until tender. Drain well and mash. Saute onion in butter until transparent but not brown (5 to 10 minutes). Add to squash along with salt, cream, and cracker crumbs. Pour into greased casserole. Dot with butter and soft bread crumbs. Bake for 30 minutes, or until lightly browned and firm
