Holiday Goose And Sauerkraut Stuffing

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Drained sauerkraut 6 1⁄2 Cup (104 tbs)
  Grated potatoes 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Pared apple 1 Medium, diced
  Carrot 1 Small, grated
  Caraway seed 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry white wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Goose 1 Pound
  Honey 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Saute onion in butter in large skillet until golden. Add sauerkraut, potatoes, apple, carrot, seasonings and wine.
Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stuff goose cavity with stuffing; truss.
Place goose on rack in shallow roasting pan.
Bake in 325-degree oven for 4 hours.
Blend honey with browning sauce; brush on goose.
Bake for 30 minutes longer or until goose is glazed.
