Ingredients
  Parsnips 3 Medium, peeled
  Salt To Taste
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornmeal 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Salad oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cut parsnips in half lengthwise.
Cook parsnips in boiling salted water until tender; drain.
Mix flour, cornmeal, 1 teaspoon salt and pepper; roll parsnips in flour mixture.
Fry in hot oil in skillet until golden brown.
