Drumstick Curry

Ingredients
  Drumsticks 4 , scraped and cut into small pieces
  Coconut 1⁄2
  Onion 1 Medium
  Red chilies 3
  Peppercorns 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Coriander seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Tamarind juice 2 Tablespoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Mustard seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Asafoetida 1 Pinch
  Coriander leaves 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (A Handful)
  Salt To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1. In a frying pan dry roast coconut, onion, chillies, peppercorns, corriander and cumin seeds.
2. Grind the spices to a smooth paste.
3. In a skillet heat 2 tablespoon oil and toss in asafoetida and mustard.
4. When seeds stop spluttering, add drumsticks, salt and turmeric.
5. Fry the mixture until tender.
6. Add 2 cups water and cook the vegetables until done.
7. Stir in coconut paste and tamarind. Cook vegetable till done.

SERVING
8. Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
