Sweet Potatoes And Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
  Sweet potatoes 3 , peeled and cubed
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), packed
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced and divided
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon (Divided)
  Butter flavoring 1⁄4 Teaspoon (Imitation)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Half and half 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

For the caramel sauce combine half-and-half, sugar, butter extract, ½ tsp vanilla extract and ¼ tsp imitation butter into a sauce pan. Cook over a medium-low heat for 25 minutes until becomes slightly thickened.

In a large saucepan, cover sweet potatoes with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook potatoes until fork tender and drain. With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat until smooth. Add brown sugar, ¼ cup of butter, ½ tsp vanilla extract and mix together with the potatoes.

Pour sweet potatoes into a serving dish and top with the caramel sauce. Serve and Enjoy!
