Sweet Potato Basundi

Ingredients
  Sweet potatoes 1⁄4 Kilogram, coarsely grated
  Milk 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cardamom powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Powdered almond 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped nuts 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Scald milk and reduce to two-thirds.
Add grated sweet potato, sugar, cardamom, nutmeg and almond powders and cook over a slow fire until thick and creamy, stirring from time to time.
Pour into a bowl.
Sprinkle nuts and chill.
Serve with soft puris.
