|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground mace||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sherry||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Grated orange rind||2 Teaspoon|
|Dried apricots||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), cooked and chopped|
Cook, drain and peel the sweet potatoes.
Mash until very smooth.
Add all the other ingredients except the apricots.
Lightly fold in the apricots.
Turn into a buttered shallow 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Bake in a preheated moderate oven (350° F) for 15 to 20 minutes.
