Sauteed Red Cabbage And Raisins
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, peeled and chopped|
|Red cabbage||1 Pound, cored and finely chopped|
|Cumin seeds||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chili powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Apple||1 , cored and sliced with skin|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
When hot, add the onion and cook until the onion begins to brown, stirring occasionally.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan and cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
