Carrot Ring

Ingredients
  Carrots 1 Pound, chopped (450 Gram)
  Stock 1⁄2 Pint (300 Milliliter)
  Caster sugar 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Grated cheese 2 Ounce
  Butter 2 Ounce, melted (50 Gram)
  Ground mace 1⁄2 Teaspoon, ground
  Egg 1 (Size 3)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Turn the oven to 350°F/180°C/Gas 4

MAKING
2. In a pan, add the carrots, stock, castor sugar and butter, cover and cook till the liquid is absorbed
3. Mash the carrots, mix with cheese, egg, mace and seasoning and add into a ring mould; bake for forty minutes

SERVING
4. Invert to a plate, fill the centre with cooked peas and serve
