Sweet Potato Twists

Ingredients
  Sweet potato 14 Ounce (400 Gram)
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla essence 2 Drop
  Whole chestnuts 8 (Preserved In Syrup)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Peel the thick skin of the sweet potato so that they appear yellow, slice into 1 inch rounds, place in water for about 2 hrs.

MAKING
2) Rinse and boil the sweet potato pieces in water until soft, drain well and mash or puree immediately.
3) Add the sugar, butter, and vanilla essence to the mashed sweet potato, blend well and make 8 portions.
FINALIZING
4) Place a portion on a plastic wrap, flatten with a spoon
then place a chestnut in the center, wrap up and twist the portion; same procedure may be repeated for the remaining portions too.

SERVING
5) Serve on a nice dish.
