Grilled Eggplant with Ginger and Bonito Flakes
|Bonito flakes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), dried (Katsuo-Bushi)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Ginger||1 , peeled (2Inch)|
1) In a greased frying pan or on a wire mesh over the stove top, grill the whole eggplants.
2) Peel the skin under running water and pat it dry.
3) Slit the eggplants deeply, lenghthwise from the stem end to the tip at several places.
4) Sprinkle the eggplants with bonito flakes, soy sauce, grated ginger and serve on a nice dish.
