STEWED SWEET POTATOES
|Sweet potatoes||2 Pound|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Peel and slice potatoes and drop immediately into water to keep the colour.
Use a heavy pan and stew all ingredients in 1 cup water very slowly.
When potatoes are done, the water will be absorbed.
Turn up the heat and fry to golden brown.
Remove cinnamon and peel before serving.
