Sweet 'N' Sour Potato Medley
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Garlic clove||1 Medium, crushed|
|Red pepper sauce||5 Drop|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Au gratin potatoes||5 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Sliced carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Frozen green peas||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Chopped tomato||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Fry bacon until crisp; crumble.
Stir water, sugar, vinegar, garlic, pepper sauce and soup into bacon fat in skillet.
Stir in potatoes, sauce mix and carrots.
Heat to boiling, stirring frequently; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 25 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
Add peas and cook 5 minutes longer.
Stir in chopped tomato.
Garnish with crumbled bacon.
