Beef 'N Potato Bake
|Brown gravy and sliced beef||1 Pound (1 Can)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Instant mashed potato||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Packaged)|
|Shredded process american cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Spread meat and gravy in 8x1 3/4-inch round baking dish.
Sprinkle onion over.
Bake at 425° about 10 minutes or till hot.
Meanwhile, prepare the instant potato (enough for 4 servings) according to package directions, but add last of liquid slowly so you can omit a little if necessary to make potatoes stiff enough to hold their shape.
Drop hot potatoes by spoonfuls over meat, making 4 mounds; sprinkle with cheese.
Return to oven and bake 3 minutes longer or till cheese melts.
