Beef 'N Potato Bake

Ingredients
  Brown gravy and sliced beef 1 Pound (1 Can)
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Instant mashed potato 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Packaged)
  Shredded process american cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Spread meat and gravy in 8x1 3/4-inch round baking dish.
Sprinkle onion over.
Bake at 425° about 10 minutes or till hot.
Meanwhile, prepare the instant potato (enough for 4 servings) according to package directions, but add last of liquid slowly so you can omit a little if necessary to make potatoes stiff enough to hold their shape.
Drop hot potatoes by spoonfuls over meat, making 4 mounds; sprinkle with cheese.
Return to oven and bake 3 minutes longer or till cheese melts.
