Spicy Red Cabbage With Apples Onions And Raisins

Ingredients
  Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Unsalted butter 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 2 , finely sliced
  Red cabbage head 1 Medium, trimmed of its outer leaves and finely shredded
  Apples 3 , cored and chopped
  Raisins 2 Ounce (1/3 Cup)
  Wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Ground allspice 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Heat the oil in a large saucepan or flameproof casserole and melt the butter in it.
Add the onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, then add the cabbage, apples, raisins, vinegar, allspice and seasoning.
Cook over a gentle heat for about 30 minutes, stirring from time to time so that it cooks evenly.
